Solutions Forum

The LA Solutions Forum is presented by the Capacity Lab in partnership with the HUB LA.  Our vision is to equip innovative nonprofit organizations with the tools and expertise necessary to tackle their most pressing challenges.


The Solutions Forum is a unique opportunity for LA nonprofits to build capacity, expand their networks, and gain visibility. Selected nonprofits will be featured in a two-hour brainstorming intensive with HUB LA community members. The HUB LA members are a curated community of diverse individuals and enterprises focused on creating positive change – social entrepreneurs, investors, intrapreneurs, policy makers, artists, activists, students, scientists, technologists, and educators – individuals using their work to create positive social or environmental impact. 

How it Works

The nonprofit presents the issue to the professionals in attendance and the collaborative brainstorming begins. The professionals, experts in their fields from a cross-section of industries, offer a fresh perspective and out of the box thinking that would not occur in traditional scenarios. This professional-to-professional exchange equips innovative nonprofits with the ideas and resources necessary to breakthrough the barriers to progress.

We are looking for LA based nonprofits open to a one of a kind opportunity.

Organizations will be selected via an application process. The finalist will be determined by the following criteria:

·      Clear articulation of issue / opportunity
·      Organizational readiness for project
·      Opportunity for social impact

The Solutions Forum is a facilitated session where the nonprofit has the opportunity to introduce their work and identify current needs to a group of highly skilled professionals. The nonprofit is ensured to leave the session with the resources, contacts, and ideas to fulfill their needs, achieve organizational goals, and promote their mission.
